Hi there! We’re Meg & Jaz — the duo behind Soaplore. 🧼✨

Soaplore was born in the summer of 2022. Meg was walking out of Jaz’s house when she blurted out a one-minute, jumbled dream about soaps inspired by songs and stories we love — and just like that, Jaz was in.

A few weeks later, at a backyard party, we were chatting with friends about our new project when the name Soaplore took shape (like folklore, but with soap!). The name stuck — and so did the spark.

From the start, Soaplore has been shaped by the people around us. Friends have lent their time, ideas, and support through every step. From design to daydreams to packaging decisions, Soaplore is a true community effort. 💕

Our Story, In Suds & Scents 🫧

At Soaplore, we create scents that feel like stories — the kind that transport you somewhere else. Maybe it’s a song lyric that hits too hard, a fairytale you can’t stop rereading, or a moment you want to bottle forever. Our soaps are little sensory time machines, handcrafted to capture those feelings.

We work in a cozy 50-square-foot space, making each batch by hand (and heart) in teeny-tiny quantities. Because we make everything ourselves, you might notice small variations from bar to bar — that’s just the charm of truly handmade goods. As we refine our recipes, we hope you fall more in love with every version.

What We Believe In 💫

We’re committed to creating products that are gentle on your skin and on the planet.

• Minimal preservatives & plastic: We keep things simple, thoughtful, and intentional.
  
• Small batch, human-made: No mass production here — just two people and a lot of soap molds.
  
• Synthetic micas & fragrances — on purpose: Yep, we choose these intentionally! Using lab-created versions helps preserve natural resources and often avoids common allergens found in essential oils.
  
• Allergy-aware: As an allergy family, we know how important transparency is. If you have questions about any ingredient, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re always happy to chat or explore alternatives.

We don’t claim ownership of the stories, music, or worlds that inspire our scents — we’re just huge fans. Think of our work as artistic tributes to the things we love most. Whenever possible, we’ll credit the original creators and keep things respectful and celebratory.
